Amber Cottage, Basin Howe Farm, Nr Scarborough

Basin Howe Farm is near Scarborough. We are high above the Wolds, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park yet close to the stunning Yorkshire Heritage coastline. This is the perfect location for sightseeing, walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and stargazing. Listen to bird song instead of traffic hum - a great place to get away from it all!

Amber Cottage has wheelchair access through double doors with a low threshold and a gently sloping path from the car park. All the ground floor is level so this is the most suitable cottage for people with mobility problems and has been assessed by Quality in Tourism as being suitable for people who may need to use a wheelchair some of the time. The wet room also has full wheelchair access.

The lounge has a real wow factor with double height ceiling, huge windows, oak beams and oak flooring. An open plan staircase leads to a mezzanine floor. Prices for 2016 from £445 per week. This cottage sleeps 4. The large ground floor bedroom has private access to the generous wet room and can be set up with a super king bed or twin beds. There is a twin room on the mezzanine floor. The stylish wet room is spacious with level access and superb thermostatic shower. We provide a shower stool and raised toilet seat on request. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and is easily accessed from the open plan lounge.
